The Luna Moth,
like its cousin the butterfly,
symbolizes rebirth and new beginnings.
But, as its namesake, the moon,
the Luna emerges at dusk, not dawn.
It does not flit from flower to flower,
but glides gracefully through the shadows.
Ever enchanted by the light,
it represents a continuing quest for truth and knowledge.

"…not quite birds, as they are not quite flowers, mysterious and fascinating as are all indeterminate creatures."
(borrowed from Elizabeth Goudge) I have employed the Luna Moth in several of my AnachronsTM, including St. Dymphna and Brigid the Goddess. Last year, when a dear friend had a "milestone" birthday, I was inspired to make a special pendant for her. She has since recieved so many comments and questions about where to get one, we decided that we would offer them for sale.
